There is a general trend where the higher the concentration of the hydrogen peroxide, the faster more oxygen gas is produced. More oxygen gas would be expected to have been produced with the higher concentrations of hydrogen peroxide because as the concentrations go up, the more oxygen is produced and this is how the strength of the hydrogen peroxide is measured. For example, 1cmiof 1V hydrogen peroxide will produce 1cmi. So, if we take the 10cmi 2. 5V hydrogen peroxide used in my investigation, if it had been left to fully decompose, 25 cmi oxygen gas would have been made. Therefore the 2. 5V hydrogen peroxide used in my experiment had fully decomposed, and no more oxygen gas could have been produced, which explains why the amount of gas produced levelled off at the end of the 5 minutes in which it was being tested. The hydrogen peroxide of higher concentrations continued producing gas after the 5 minutes in which I was timing the decomposition of the hydrogen peroxide was up. I could not measure past 100cmi of oxygen gas, as my gas syringe was not large enough. My hypothesis was that where there is a higher concentration of hydrogen peroxide, the rate of reaction is faster. We can see from my table and graphs that on the whole my results support this hypothesis. Saying this, there are still anomalous results. Having checked my 12. 5V hydrogen peroxide result twice, it was still a little slower rate of reaction than that of the 10V hydrogen peroxide (which I also checked twice). My results appeared to improve once I had checked them, although the results which I have plotted on my graph are averages of the two sets of results for each concentration of hydrogen peroxide. If there is an anomalous result, it will change the overall value of the averaged result, which can affect how accurately the results are shown. Other factors that can affect the results are: -That the experiment will not be timed accurately and that readings are taken at the wrong time, which gives an inaccurate result for that time. -The gas syringe did not work properly, for example if the gas syringe was broken or if it stuck, an accurate reading would not be possible as the pressure would build up inside the gas syringe until it moved. This wouldnt give an accurate result as the gas syringe would not show a different value every ten seconds. -The surface area of the liver used could also affect how well the experiment worked because if there were a greater surface area, there would be more area for the catalase to be in contact with the hydrogen peroxide, therefore more hydrogen peroxide would be exposed to the catalase in the liver. I would expect this to make the rate of reaction faster as there would be more catalyst readily available to speed up the reaction. -The size of liver used will affect the results, for example, if the size of one piece of liver was larger than another piece of liver used with the same strength and amount of hydrogen peroxide, the hydrogen peroxide containing the larger piece of liver will have a faster rate of reaction as it will contain more catalase. -Any error in measurement throughout the experiments in my investigation will affect the results in this investigation, for instance if the hydrogen peroxide was measured incorrectly, different results will be found which could possibly be anomalous. Most of these factors affecting my results are out of my control, such as whether the gas syringe is broken or the size and surface area of the liver (because it is almost impossible to weigh such a small piece of liver). The pieces of liver I used were only approximately the size of a grain of rice, although some were inevitable larger or smaller. Reasons to be a Nurse

I love the idea that I choose to pursue the dream of becoming a nurse. I love being around children and helping other that are hurt. My daughter and my sister have inspired me to become a better person. I have chosen that the best career for me would be a Pediatric Nurse. Being a Pediatric Nurse would benefit me. I would have a variety of job opportunities, flexible hours and last but not least you would get to make a great and rewarding salary. First, as a Pediatric Nurse I would have an excellent and flexible schedule to choose from.While having a child and being a single mom a flexible work schedule will be excellent for me and her. To me working whatever hours I like would really benefit me because I would be able to spend more quality time with my baby girl who means the world to me. My baby girl is the reason why I want to accomplish this goal. Secondly, there is a wide variety of job opportunities to choose from such as a hospital, clinic, school, nursing home, and travel nurs e.As a Pediatric Nurse I will have the opportunity to choose a position in the nursing field such as a staff nurse, floor charge nurse, floor unit manager, director of nursing and many more to choose from. When I become a Pediatric Nurse I would like to work in a hospital. I won’t to work with the babies. Being around children makes me feel on top of the world. Last, working as a Pediatric Nurse, I would make a great salary. I can make on an average of $40,000.For me making a nurses salary would truly benefit me. I would not have to live paycheck to paycheck. I would be able to support my family. I would not have to depend on anyone to support my family. All of these reasons have influenced my decision on becoming a Pediatric Nurse. The salary a nurse makes is awesome. I love having money in my pocket and a nurse would be an excellent career to pursue. But, the most important reason I am choosing to become a nurse is to support my family.

Is YouTube Hurting our Kids Since the mid 2000s YouTube has gotten very popular and it’s just been growing every year. But the one thing that we don’t realize is just how big is to big. Every day videos are uploaded in YouTube, the next big video will be shown on the Internet, and the next star. I see YouTube as tool that can’t be use right for are kids, but we also have to watch the dark side of YouTube. In discussion of YouTube, one controversial issue has been is YouTube safe for our kids. On the one hand, it doesn’t have enough filters contends to many uncensored videos online. Others even maintain it hurts them emotion and mentally and also some videos are mostly targeting are kids. My own view is as a parent I could relate it’s easy for us to just give them an electronic device to keep them distraction, but we also need to be careful what they are watching in article from USA Today states, â€Å"YouTube said it turned off comments on 625,000 videos and deleted 150,000 videos that were targeted by child predators.(Grahams, USATODAY). A CHILD PREDATOR uploaded a video on YouTube that could contain very bad content. Then again there are no relegation on who could upload a video. Like any other company in order to become big they need to protect their YoutTubers because they get a lot of views and a lot of billion on advertising. Like Logan Paul especially had a big c ontroversial issue for showing a real life dead body that was hanging from a tree in japan. In his video he laughs about it and doesn’t realize what effect people might take it. Had over six million views less than an hour been uploaded and most of his followers then again are kids that fallow him and of you look at his channel mostly dumb and outrages videos he does to promote. YouTube has a lot in their hands they can’t control even with their filter just installing the app is easy its free. If you go and look on the image on the left, you could see the rating is for Teen and that 23,448,364 are install either on their phones or tablets still not including computer. With no context letting the user what kind of graphic video you might see. My feeling on the issue are mixed. There is good information on YouTube how well-educated videos that are uploaded. In my experience I do use YouTube for day to day task like how to teach my sons how to read, how to do some fun activities, my son Andrew also likes to watch soccer videos and how to become a better goal keeper. YouTube has variety of good contents and followers to watch. When the railway was completed, the Canadian government used the head tax system to create difficulties for them to reunite with their families. More specifically, the Canadian government treated the Chinese workers as cheap labor because they came from China. One of the guys worked In a farm and packed vegetables, and his manager only paid him $10 per hour, when he should have been paid at least $15 per hour If he held a work permit. He worked more than 60 hours a week and he soul wanted to work more to earn more money and send back to China for his parents, wife and son. Since he was an illegal resident of New Zealand, he could not argue anything with his boss. However, the Chinese immigrants in Canada at the time of the railway were hired by Canadian government to build the railway, but they were treated unfairly. Therefore, the injustice of the Chinese workers by the government reveals how racism prompted the Canadians to treat the workers poorly. Racism is also revealed in the demutualization that appears on the fact that one in ten of the Chinese workers ended up dying when the Canada Pacific Railway was complete. More explicitly, the Canadian government treated the Chinese workers as slaves. They did not care about the health condition, the work environment or the safety. This makes me remember there were has another group of Chinese workers suffering in same situation in New Zealand history. In comparison, the New Zealand overspent also have some relevant anti-Chinese laws to treat the Chinese immigrants (Et AR, 2012).
